The Oise River Side collective at the SLOWW trade show in Agen, 21 & 22 January 2025!

We are delighted to announce our participation in the SLOWW trade show

The must-attend fluvial tourism event, to be held in Agen on 21 & 22 January 2025.

This gathering represents a unique opportunity for fluvial destinations such as our own to meet with the sector’s various stakeholders: cruise organisers, project sponsors, travel agencies, and committed communities.

Why our river is well worth your careful consideration

Still underexploited, the Oise River is overflowing with incredible tourist opportunities:

A uniquely rich heritage

  • Impressionism: walk in the footsteps of renowned painters, such as Van Gogh in Auvers-sur-Oise.
  • World War I: must-see memorial sites.
  • Châteaux and abbeys: testifying to key moments of French history.

Ideal accessibility

  • Only a few minutes from Paris and Charles de Gaulle Airport.

Year-long navigability

  • Thanks to its reliable and well-maintained infrastructures.

Committed communities

  • Ready to improve the facilities and services for their fluvial stops, in partnership with VNF, France’s national waterways office.

Something new that changes everything: the Seine-Nord Europe Canal

Did you know that the Seine-Nord Europe Canal, prolonging the Oise River, is being built? Planned for 2030–32, this colossal project will link Paris to Amsterdam, opening a new route for fluvial tourism and transport:

  • A waterway welcoming cruise boats measuring 110 to 140 metres, with a clearance of 5.25 m.
  • A unique heritage immersion, with the canal’s giant locks open to visitors and a crossing of Europe’s highest canal-bridge.

AT OUR STAND (D09): Enjoy a sneak preview of the canal thanks to our 3D presentation! Dive into the future of fluvial tourism… starting today.

With the shared goal of promoting the Oise River as a major and innovative fluvial destination.

👉 So, let’s get together on the 21st & 22nd of January 2025, to share our ambitions and together imagine fluvial tourist activities for the Oise River.
